If you want to have detailed knowledge of devices and installations intended for cooling down to -150°C and for temperatures lowering below 120 K, if you wish to design, implement and operate refrigerating and cryocooling systems, if you desire to supervise work in food cold stores, refrigeration and air conditioning installations, air rectification and technical gas production plants or natural gas liquefaction plants, then Refrigeration and Cryogenics is the field of study meant for you.
Upon graduation a student has the skills in design, implementation and operation of both refrigeration and cryocooling systems. Additionally, a graduate can apply creatively modern design methods and is well prepared for a PhD track.
