About:

I am a researcher and a lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST). In March 2009 I received my PhD degree with honors by defending a thesis on heat and mass transfer processes in adsorption systems. This gave me the opportunity to work as a post-doctoral research fellow in the United States and in the Netherlands. Currently, I am employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Thermal Sciences. In September 2020, I was appointed by the Rector of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology to act as the Vice-Dean for General Affairs at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, and in September 2024 as Vice-Dean for Cooperation and Science.

Scientific interests:

As a researcher, my work centers on the intersection of thermal and mechanical processes, with a strong emphasis on multiphase flows and processes. I apply this expertise to fields like thermal engineering, power engineering, and refrigeration technology. My current projects focus on investigating low-pressure conditions and exploring how nanoparticles can enhance the thermal and physical properties of working fluids and boiling surfaces.
