Mr Michal Ostrycharczyk is an experienced scientist where the field of research mainly is focused on the energy conversion and combustion processes in energy sector. He is a mechanical and power industry engineer. As part of his scientific research work on the topic "Lignite combustion in an oxygen enriched atmosphere for pulverized energy boiler" he obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences at the WUST. A professional experience, as part of cooperation with the WUST (2010-2020), includes both specialist, assistant and research assistant positions, including in energy projects: "Competitive pre-DRYing technologies and firing concepts for flexible and efficient LIGnite utilization (DryLig 1201/0001/14)", "Biocoal for Power Generation (BioPoGen)", "Development of oxygen combustion technologies for pulverized and fluidized bed boilers integrated with CO2 capture ”. In addition, he is active in publishing in the above-mentioned topics, He is an co-author of 18 peer reviewed publications, 14 conference papers and 1 patent for drying high moisture waste device.
