After over five years of cooperation in the field of student exchange, on November 24, 2020, Tohoku University in Japan and the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology signed an agreement on further cooperation. The agreement was signed for the first time in 2014 and concerns student exchange. Tohoku University is one of the prestigious state universities in Japan, located in the city of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.
