We would like to inform you that from April 27, 2026, due to amendments to the Act on Foreigners, a new, exclusive method of submitting applications for temporary residence permits has been introduced – via the nationwide MOS 2.0 system. Applications submitted in any other way (in person at the Office or sent by post) will not be considered.

When applying for a temporary residence permit for the purpose of studying, the foreigner is required to attach Annex No. 5 to the application in the MOS system, which replaces the previous certificate obtained from the university. 

Procedure for obtaining Appendix No. 5:
• The foreign student completes the form in the MOS system and provides the university's email address:

• For students who began their studies from October 1, 2025: ewa.zajaczkowska@pwr.edu.pl 
• For students who began their studies before October 1, 2025: admission@pwr.edu.pl 

• After the student completes the required data, Appendix No. 5 is automatically forwarded to the university.

• An authorized university employee completes the document and signs it with a qualified signature.

• The signed document is returned to the student via the MOS system.

• The student attaches Appendix No. 5 to their application via the MOS 2.0 system.
