We cordially invite you to watch the recording of the meeting with the delegation from Westinghouse Electric Company and a lecture "Evolution of US civil light water nuclear technology and the development of passive plants".
The meeting was held on December 7th from 11.15-14.00 in the auditorium of the Wrocław University of Technology (building A-1). It was a good opportunity to listen to a lecture on the AP1000 nuclear reactor, as well as to learn about the assumptions of the internship program, which will take place in 2022 at the Westinghouse headquarters in the United States.
Westinghouse Electric Company is an American company operating in the nuclear energy industry for over 60 years. The first American commercial nuclear power plant with a PWR (pressurized water reactor) was put into operation in 1958 in Shippingport (Pennsylvania, USA). Nearly 430 nuclear reactors using Westinghouse technology are in operation around the world.
The meeting was organized in a hybrid form. We encourage you to watch the recording of a live streaming available on our YouTube channel.
