In case of exceeding maximum permitted deficit of ECTS points student has a right to submit in the Dean’s office an application form for registering for semester addressed to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs. The application form for registering for semester with exceeded deficit of ECTS points may be submitted only after all of the grades from the previous semester are written in the electronic student record book.
If the student shall not be granted with a permission for registering for semester, he/she may submit an application form requesting a Dean’s leave (after second semester of studies).
After the first semester of studies student may not apply for a Dean’s leave if he/she did not fulfill the requirements of registering for the second semester.
According to § 26 par. 11 of the Regulations governing higher education studies at WUST registration for the next study stage will not be granted to a student who:
1) has failed to fulfil the conditions referred to in sec. 1 and sec. 5 and was not granted the right of registration for the next study stage,
2) has failed to receive credit for a course taken for a third time and has not obtained consent for taking the course for another time in accordance with the procedure described in § 22 sec. 5, or has failed to receive credit for a course taken for a third time after the studies have been resumed (§ 34 sec. 8), which is an indication of a lack of progress and may lead to the removal from the register of students in accordance with § 33 sec. 2 point 2 and sec. 4 point 2 and 3,
3) has failed to receive credit for a course by the stage indicated in the study programme (§ 9 sec. 8), which is an indication of a lack of progress and may lead to the removal from the register of students in accordance with § 33 sec. 4 point 4,
4) has failed to enrol (register) on a course within the time limits set by the dean (§ 14 sec. 1) in such a way as to fulfil the requirements described in sec. 1 and § 9 sec. 8.
ATTENTION: Students who shall not fulfill here in above requirements shall become subjected to the striking off from the register of students procedure according to § 33 of the Regulations governing higher education studies at WUST.
